TiE Denver will facilitate evaluating Colorado’s most interesting startups and apply venture capitalist metrics to create a standard power ranking.  The evaluation of startups will be conducted by a “Power Panel” of highly qualified leaders from the TiE Denver Charter Membership and Community Partnerships using a rigorous, standardized rubric.  Judges on the Power Panel must either be vetted as a TiE Charter Member, from any US or Global Chapter, or a qualified official of a TiE Community Partner.   Three judges will evaluate each startup’s presentation according to the scoring rubric, and at least two of the scoring judges must be TiE Charter Members.

Once compiled, the Colorado Start-Up Power Rankings will help investors, both within and outside of TiE, have a quick and standard point of reference when sourcing investment opportunities. The first Colorado Start-Up Power Rankings judging session is targeted for early Fall in downtown Denver.
