Women Focus – Project AIRSWEEE funded by the U.S. Department of State

TiE global launched the All India Road Show on Women’s Economic Empowerment through Entrepreneurship initiative to train women entrepreneurs. This Program is funded by the U.S mission in India and the U.S. Department of State. Workshops will be conducted in Coimbatore, Warangal, Jaipur, Nagpur and Durgapur, where 125 aspiring women entrepreneurs will be selected and given training on sustainable business skills by U.S. based mentors who will travel to India.

Ms. Seema Chaturvedi, Chairwoman of Project AIRSWEEE says, “Empowering potential women entrepreneurs is a great way to boost economic growth. A program that promotes an entrepreneurial mindset by providing women with the knowledge and tools of an entrepreneurial possibility can unleash dreams of growth and value creation with a very significant multiplier effect.”
